SOTW

Hello! I thought of an idea that I should have a Song(s) of the Week. This is actually taken from a “game” me and my dad would do. When my father would be back in town usually he had so many music selections he would want me to listen to. However, there was always this one single song that we would constantly listen to over and over. It was the song. We would listen to it the whole week, sometimes ten times in a row, and then we would move on to another song. But of course we wouldn’t forget that certain song, we would come back to it months, times later and reminisce.

But this idea of mine does take that aspect, and also to bring recognition of songs I haven’t heard of, and to see if they grow on me the more I listen to it. That actually happened with me and the latest The Shins album.

But here are the Song(s) of the week. Usually it will be one or two songs

  1. Fall In Love by Phantogram

Music video is ok in my opinion, but song is really great. Im not sure but it is a very sexually appealing song, and I am glad I found this song again. This brings back memories of my best friend and one of her own friends that played this song in a car ride one time. Very nostalgic, because it seems that I lost opportunity to connect more with other people.

2. This Old Dog by Mac Demarco

Yes. Yes. YES. I am very hyped for his new album coming out. Mac Demarco is not for everyone. But give it a listen, I really do enjoy this acoustic song. Yup, nothing much to say except this song calms me down pretty good. Nice lyrics and chorus.

*you can find all songs on Spotify, Soundcloud, and YouTube

Give it a listen, give music a chance.
