January: Monthy Catch Up

Here we are on the last day of January

Well, the first month of January is coming to an end. This month has been pretty good, I’ve just been doing my own thing and doing class work. Already, homework has been so annoying but I have pretty good classes, so why complain? But besides that, I have been pretty good with my resolutions. I work out regularly and my eating habits have been way better than before. One of the newest things that have happened is, I made an Instagram for my blog! (Pls go follow it to keep up with any future posts I do!) Besides that, I feel that nothing as new has happened.

I started thinking about what I should do to spruce up my journal writing, and I’ve taken to account on making it prettier like a bullet journal. One of my roommates and I have been obsessed with peoples monthly spreads and decoration for their journal. I think I might start considering it, however not to the full extent of extreme bullet journaling. I will more than likely make a calendar for the year and then a page for each month.

My classes have taken my time but not all of it. I do have time for working and I feel the progress in my body. One of my goals is to shorten my mile, and so far I have cut it down to 7:40. I used to be a runner in high school and I had good times in the 6:30-6:45 range. That is what my goal is and I hope to someday achieve it. The more I practice, the closer I get.

So, I have a lot of projects to work on for this blog! I wanted to start a new series, which you will find out soon! I’ve been trying to schedule posts that way I have a better time at making sure the content gets out in time! In more news about my blog is that I started to monetize my content and redesigned my site. Some more changes might occur within the year, but hopefully not as drastic. I started reading a lot of novels for class so I might talk about them since I’ve noticed that my category in Books is sort of low. I will also start working on other categories such as:

  • People
  • Things and Inspiration
  • Films and Videos
  • Album Reviews

I always forget that I have so much to talk about!

On a bad note, my body feels horrible due to allergies and the lack of good sleep. I woke up on the 30th with a dry throat and annoying headaches. Hopefully, it will pass in a  week and I’ve I start taking medicine I should be okay. I was so tired and sick last night that I decided not to run and ended up eating at 11:30 at night because I forgot to eat earlier. So for today, I need to run earlier, possibly after class, so I have time to eat. I want to start taking lunch with me during the day, so I bought a lunch box on Amazon which should get here tomorrow. The first day of February.

February is so weird to me, it’s the time when all I want to do is eat chocolate and sadly suffer from allergies. It’s also the quickest month of the year with an awkward number of 28 days. With that less amount of days, it is that less important to me. But hey maybe I’ll do a series of love poems? That’s an idea of think about. Time consuming but interesting.

Now that I’m at the end of the month I am completely blank on what to reflect on my first month of 2018. It wasn’t hard, but more of a fresh start. I know for most people February will be their first month of new and resolutions.

From what I understand, and how the way I feel- I need to get more sleep. That is one thing I should work on based on my month and to not get distracted. I also can’t miss a reading for my non-English classes!(lol) I noticed that when I read all the readings and wrote notes for the annoying modules for my government class I got a 100 on the daily quiz than the previous class when I barely read and took no notes.

I am honestly tired on the last day of January. But I have the end of the week to look forward to with my roommates, just a nice family dinner and movie night!

Well, I wish you good luck for the next month!
