Hey everyone! I’ve been going back to the archives and listening to some new stuff. I went back to my roots and listened to some old bands I loved when I was a kid, and still do to this day. So please enjoy these picks and share!
(title inspired by the Kate Bush song)
For the second time I asked
why the clouds were late
I grew rosemary on my
temples and collected
tines in the morning
wax of secrets and diaries of
the second time, a second time
the world was made with
paper and construction blue
I love it when
my stomach jokes
and when my elbow drove me to the lake
with a door, and I
remembered the last time my liver was
handed, crowned with
jewels and baskets of
oranges, the ones picked
last night rolled back twice
on some moss’s jealousy
I wonder why
Why the second time
the clouds didn’t call today
Hi everyone, I’ve collected some poems but I strayed away from posting them. The class I’m taking has forced me ( in a good way) to write poems/lines/phrases again. I’m happy that I’m writing again, and I’ve noticed that my word choices and the poems themselves have changed. I’ll try to post the ones I do for class, but here is one that I wrote outside of it. I might use this is workshop, but I don’t know. I try not to devalue my poetry and I treat it as separate from myself. I hope you enjoy this short one.
I wrote this a few days ago, I’m already on my second day of classes 🙂
So the summer is coming to an end. I start classes this Wednesday and I feel weird about it. I feel almost indifferent. Not that I hate it, I just feel like it’s something I have to do, like breathing or making sure to eat. Continue reading “happiness is a- an update”

Mental Health, Physical Health, Creative Projects, and Getting Back
It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these. I think the last one I did was around February. Now that it’s summer I can finally tell you a few things to come. I know I haven’t been posting lately and I think the last post I did was about two weeks ago, so it’s been a while! I’m sorry about that, things got really busy on the last few weeks of school and it seemed like I had no time for any personal projects or ideas I had. Plus, work takes up some of my free time so I had no motivation to set aside blog time. I feel like it’s been a month since I’ve done anything on here, but that should change soon! I’ve been going through a lot of things and I will be honest and say Continue reading “i only said – an update”
Playlists are my favorite to make. I don’t make them necessarily for anyone so they’re pretty personal. Most of the time when I go back to these playlists it makes me think of specific moments around that time. If I was happy, sad, or even frustrated. Those moments count, and music always comes through. Continue reading “– all of our yesterdays – A Playlist”
Hey guys! A new playlist is now on my Spotify! It’s spring time and usually I like to start my seasons with some new music here and there, I also see it as another chapter of the year. So far I’ve already been to a lot of concerts so this month has been filled with so much music. You can find my playlist here . And below!
Hello my friends, let’s start this Songs of The Week strong! Today I have some Continue reading “SOTW #79”
Yes-I did take a week off but it was due to the holiday and the fact that I have been sort of feeling slightly under the weather. However, that meant that I was laying in my room listening to all kinds of tunes ;). So enjoy! You’ll see me in the New Year.
Hey guys! Today is a special Songs Of The Week, featuring a local artist of Austin! Singer-songwriter of theghøst, Zeus Hernandez gives us visions of electric blend and chill pop. His most recent release of the year is Miami, hot and fresh of Spotify. You can also find his EP Lovers Day! I am always for supporting local, small, or upcoming new artists! If you’ve guys been in a rut with music options, give theghøst a listen!
You can find more of theghøst on Soundcloud, Spotify, Bandcamp, and several other platforms below!
Here are few of my favorite tracks…
I hope you find this advice in the best light. Some of it is lifestyle-based and other is just general stuff. My birthday was a few days ago and really want to look back, or rather look at the now. I think I’ve learned a lot of things in my life and I think I’ve grown in my life. I’ve missed out on so much in my “past life” but where I am right now is so much better than before. So here is a list of what I’ve learned in 21 years.
Hello! I am herrreeeee! Sorry for not making any Instagram posts, but I’ve been caught up on making the Vlogtober Videos that I didn’t have time to make Instagram or blog related posts. However, I will not let you down on the songs of the week! I’ve been feeling a little bit spoopy so we have some of that content with The Decemberists. I know it’s not Christmas but I’ve been listening to some Charlie Brown songs. Lastly, we got She & Him, there’s nothing much I can say about that :).

A sad poem about conversations, just something I observed and a character formed.
Maybe if I’m still enough
I can float on conversations.
Maybe when there’s an opportunity
I won’t wait.
Maybe if I didn’t judge too hard
on myself, I’d talk in fragments.
Maybe if I start talking about what everyone likes
Maybe they’ll like me too?
It’s been a while. I actually forgot all my favorite songs at the moment.
Cherub Rock by Smashing Pumpkins
He Gives His Love to Me by She & Him, they have two versions inclusive of male and female gender and preference
Where This Flower Blooms by Tyler the Creator. Has always been a favorite, it never gets old.
I’m sorry but…. Evil by Interpol and been slapping. I think I’m obsessed. Maybe it’s time to make a summer playlist.
Give it a listen, give music a chance.
NEW VLOG IS OUT NOW!!!!
Here is a link to the video. Please like and subscribe and share with friends. If you don’t want to that’s fine with me too 😉 Also my previous Travel Dairy follows this!
We landed in Taipei, Taiwan and we only have these 24 hours to see and do as much as possible here! Before we land in Bali we decided to stop at Taiwan for a little sightseeing. We arrived around 9 and met our driver to take us to some popular attractions. Taipei definitely is different than Okinawa, Japan. There are tall buildings everywhere housing their population of 2.7 million. Transportation is different as they drive on the right side and their cars are around the medium/large side.
Everything happened so fast. It really was an experience to see a new way of the uninterrupted liveliness of the city.
The first thing we went to is the National Palace Museum. Why go to a museum? Cause I can, and also to see some beautiful and ancient art and history. The next place we went is Taipei 101, the tallest building in the world. It serves as an office/mall/shopping center. Absolutely beautiful. Breathtaking view. I recommend that this is a place you should not miss if you ever go to Taipei.
We went to this tiny village with some cute booths of sellers and artists, I decided to get a caricature of myself
And of course, we went to the night market. I’ve never been as close and crowded with strangers in my life, except maybe a concert. It was just shops and shops galore. Food vendors and trucks left and right. There was a bunch of knock-off brands too. My legs hurt so much at the end of the day.
Landed in Malaysia for the time being.
Now in Bali, Indonesia!!! I’m so tired and it’s about 4 in the morning. I’ll see you in the next post!
Today I wasn’t sure what I would be doing. But it turned out to be a pretty eventful day. One of our goals was to eat the big thick Japanese pancakes. However, Continue reading “Travel Diary #3 Pancakes, Aeon Mall, American Village, Arcade, Yakiniku”
